User details and actions
When you click on a user's name in the "Users" list, or select the ellipses icon (•••) next to their entry and choose "View Details", you'll be taken to a dedicated "User details" page. This page provides a comprehensive view of their profile and allows you to perform specific actions.
At the top of the user details page, you'll find:
User name & avatar: The display name and profile picture of the user.
Email address: The email associated with their account.
Role: If the user is also a team member on your board, their role (e.g., "OWNER") will be displayed here.
Below the user's basic information, you'll find tabs that categorize their interactions with your board:
Submitted: This tab displays all the feedback posts or ideas that the user has personally submitted. You'll see the title, description, category, status, and engagement metrics (votes, comments) for each.
Upvotes: This tab (if clicked) would show a list of all feedback items that the user has upvoted.
Comments: This tab (if clicked) would display all the comments the user has left on various feedback items across your board.
On the user details page, locate the ellipses icon (•••) usually near the user's name at the top right. Clicking this icon reveals a menu with powerful management options:
Block user:
Selecting this option will prevent the user from submitting any further feedback, comments, or votes on your board(s).
This is useful for managing spam, inappropriate content, or users who are repeatedly violating community guidelines.
A confirmation prompt will usually appear before the user is blocked.
Delete user:
Choosing "Delete user" will permanently remove the user's account and all their associated contributions (posts, upvotes, comments) from your board.
This action is irreversible. Please use it with extreme caution and ensure you genuinely intend to delete all data related to this user. A confirmation prompt will always appear to prevent accidental deletion.
These detailed views and actions empower you to maintain a healthy, engaged, and well-managed community around your feedback board.
